Special Wedding Favors

I just got married October 13 2011. I made my own favors to match the color scheme of the flowers I had in my bouquet and centerpieces. Red, orange, purple, hot pink and deep green. The cookies were HUGE...about 6" tall. I flooded them with an ivory color and then did some flower designs with the brush embroidery technique cascading on one side. The centers of the flowers I added a little silver luster dust for some sparkle. They came out beautiful & everyone loved them. I will always remember these because they were my wedding favors AND...because they are the one cookie that literally took me the longest to decorate. haha...luckily it was for a special occasion ;)

Black & White wedding

a dear friend of mine is getting married & i was privileged to make her wedding favors. she wanted a wedding cake cookie with black & white flowers. i used the brush embroidery technique which is always a winner. so pretty....so elegant! they came out nice!

Halloween Cookies

I think these Halloween cookies had to be the funnest yet. Who doesn't love Halloween? Its still early an have time to make some more Halloween cookies if I like....Hmmmm I think that may be a GO! Check my Flickr for more pics...

Hello-ween Time!

I saw this cute image on an invitation and of course I thought....ooohhh that would be so cool if I made a cookie like that. Well these came out mighty cute I may say. I didnt want to ice the whole cookie black....since black icing tends to leave your mouth & teeth black haha. So I read on LilaLoa's blog that if you add some drops of black food coloring into your chocolate cookie dough you will get black cookies. No black teeth & no aftertaste. WOW this is brilliant!
