Magical Fairies

Fairy themed cookies for a women's extravaganza. Hmmm well I knew I didn't want to do a girly cartoonish fairy so I went with a silhouette fairy. Chose the colors of bright pink, blue, green & purple. Airbrushes the edges with a darker color for some added dimension. I wanted these cookies to be magical. Added teeny tiny dots as fairy dust and painted on some stars with a dot of royal icing to make the stars twinkle like. I love the way they turned out...Magical Fairies ;)

 

April cookies

Wow April is a popular month for cookies. Birthdays, baby showers, fun events. I really enjoyed decorating these fun cookies for friends events. I wish I would of made a tutorial on some of them but I didnt :( 

I made some really cute horses for an event at Harmony Farms. They turned out really cute I think. 

 

How cool to throw a Black, White & Red cherry themed birthday party for a girl? How fun is that? I was able to make some cookies for this event and I am so happy with the way they turned out. Black & white checkerboard background with double cherries on top. They were time consuming but so worth the end result. These are the kind of cookies that when I finish its all worth the time that goes into my designs. 

 A friend of mine wanted to send some her Dad some fun birthday cookies for her Dad who is turning 60. She requested a cookie that looks like a Geritol bottle HAHA how funny is that!

 

I love my friends & family fun event and party ideas. I enjoy making them cookies for their events. I mean think about it...my cookie jar can only be so full. Cant eat all the yummy cookies alone!

3D Bunny

Easter was creeping up on me so I figured I better get with it and make some Easter cookies for FUN....cuz we all know Easter & cookies together is FUN! I had a few ideas of what I wanted to create but didn't get to create all of them. Maybe I will at another time. Is it weird to see bunnies & chicks popping up in August? I mean people love Christmas but it would be kinda odd to show everyone the pretty Christmas and Santa Claus cookies I did for July? HAHA...anyways moving along....

I made this cool little 3D bunny and let me tell ya...even though it came out pretty cool it was more nerve racking than playing the game of operation when I was a kid with no steady hand HAHA! The royal icing flower transfers were so delicate and yes I broke many. Thankfully some made it through to stand tall.

Rainbows, Shamrocks & Clouds oh my...

Well its almost that time of the year again...St. Patrick's Day. I heard on TV the other day that St Patrick's Day is the #1 drinking day of the year. Wow and I didn't even make any green beer cookies lol. So this year before making cookies for this holiday I was inspired to do some rainbows. Something fun & colorful. I also wanted to make cupcakes. Im usually a cookie making machine but I have a big spot in my heart for cupcakes too.

Cupookie Cookies

I have been wanting to make cookies like this for some time now and finally came around to it. I wish I would of had some nice pink paper for the background but i didn't have anything that would fit as the cookies were layed out. But they turned out cute I think. The funny thing is even thought these are not too detailed I was having a hard time eating these because once you eat one it screws the whole set up. So I started with one of the BIG cupcakes then it was the "C" after I ate the "C" its been all down hill from there haha. So yummy !!
