with the cupcakes i used luster dust to make the shading to give it some dimension and added some disco dust to the red tops to make it really sparkle. who comes up with these names? lol
and what is valentines day without necco conversation heart candies and conversation heart cookies? YUM!
more Valentines Day cookie Love on my Flickr ♥
These are fantastic! I like the cookie with the silhouette of the kissing couple - very cute. You are so versatile....there are so many different styles and designs in the cookies above, it's wonderful!
ReplyDeletethank you so much Canterbury Cakes. i really love the silhouette of the kissing couple as well ♥
Deletewow these are amazing!! How long does it take you to do these and how many do you do at a time... i've not branched out into cookie decorating yet b/c i'm just realizing i love to make cupcakes and just recently got cake pop pans and supplies and made some of those last night. i'm afraid to start cookies! lol... don't know where or how to start. i don't sell anything i bake but i do make special things for our daughter when she has a party at her class (she's 2 1/2) and for church functions and OF COURSE her awesome birthday parties, which btw, will be Hello Kitty this year w/ polka dots and bright colors, possibly rainbows...:)
ReplyDeletethank you Bekah. i usually bake up a bunch of different shapes and decorate them in about 3-4 days. cookies take alot of time because of all the steps and drying. i enjoy making cupcakes as well but decorating cookies is my favorite. i have not yet tried cake pops. i have seen some amazing ones out there though. try cookies...find something simple online and go for it. ;)
DeleteI love them all! Did you use a "cupcake" cookie cutter for the cupcake? Such detail of little hearts on the bottom wrapper, awesome!
ReplyDeletethank you! yes i used a cupcake cookie cutter. i got them at Hobby Lobby. three different sizes. the little one is so cute ♥
