Batter Up....

its baseball season and my little niece is on a co-ed team. kids are too much fun to watch when they play sports. i made these cute lil baseballs and bats for her team. finished them with some red and blue ribbons to coordinate with their team colors and voila!

Easter Cookies

I love Easter. its a great time of year and really reminds me of being a kid. decorating these Easter cookies was alot of fun. i had so many different cookie cutters i actually made way too many for the time i had to decorate. so i sacrificed not decorating the butterflies & flowers to finish all of these wonderful bunnies, eggs, and chicks. Hippity Hoppity Happy Easter. ♥

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Foam Weapon League

i recently made some cookies for the foam weapon league. i am part of this cool event as DoomSLAYER. check out the website if you are curious and go to news to see some of the teaser vids. its still in the works with publicity but has made some great gains as far as feedback from the public & media. saturday march 19th is our next big battle if anyone is interested in checking it out. information on the event is on the website.

the main character is HardCORE so i enjoyed making cookies to resemble him & the FWL logo. the only downfall of these cookies was the black icing made everyones tongue & mouth black for a few minutes haha. but then again....that was kinda cool in its own way ;)

Dora the Explorer

ahhh dora dora dora....when i was asked to design some dora cookies for a little girls birthday party i was excited. i knew this was going to be a challenge since this would be the first time doing dora cookies. i checked online to find almost ALL the dora cookies were just of her face. so i made my own cookie cutter out of cardboard & went to work. they came out quit nice i must say. i am happy with the turnout and hope the little girl thinks so too ;) happy baking!!!



hearts for anyday...

i finally got around to making some heart cookies with my heart cookie cutters. hearts can be used for any occasion right? well hell yes they can. hearts represent love & love should be everyday in my opinion. im really enjoying making & decorating cookies. i havent made many cupcakes lately but with st. patty's day coming up im thinking that will be a perfect reason to make both ;)

Happy Valentine's Day

there are so many cute ideas to go crazy with for valentines day. tons of candy at the stores & bakeries going all out with the sugary goodness of cakes, cupcakes and cookies. i had purchased a skull & crossbones cookie cutter back when it was halloween. i havent used it yet so what better day to use it than Valentine's Day haha. so i tried to make it look heartsy...."heartsy" is that even a word? anyways....my first try at using this cookie cutter & still getting better with my cookie decorating skills. i need to find someone that will eat all these so i can make more & practice more ;)
